Last spring Collision Quarterly (CQ) publisher Iva Kestrankova had a chance to chat with Haden Dhillon and Dominic Duong, both ninth graders from Frank Hurt Secondary school in Surrey, B.C., who participated in the Pedal Car Challenge. Haden and Dominic began the Pedal Car Challenge project by drawing their ideas with pen and paper, and then they made their first prototype out of cardboard before proceeding to the metal work. Here is what Haden and Dominic had to say about the process.
