Sao Paulo- Braskem, in partnership with Valoren, will invest R$67-million in the construction of a recycling line in Indaia-tuba, Sao Paulo, Brazil, that will convert waste plastic into post-consumer resin (PCR). The new recycling line, which will utilize Valoren's technology, is expected to transform around 250-million pieces of packaging into 14,000 t/y of high-quality PCR. Operations are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of next year.
