Yeosu-KBR said it has been awarded a dual-pressure nitric acid technology contract by Hanwha Corp. for a new 1,200-t/d nitric acid facility to be built at Yeosu in South Korea. Under the terms of the contract, KBR will provide license, basic engineering design, and technical support to Hanwha for the facility. No other details of the project were available.
