摘要

Previous research work on the effects of organizational culture (OC) and implementation of total quality management (TQM) shows positive relationships between the two. However, the research implicitly presumes a possible role for employee readiness for change (ERFC), as a mechanism through which TQM is associated with different OCs. This research work examines the EFRC as a multidimensional construct with four separate components: ? Change specific efficacy, ? Personal benefit of the change, ? Management support for the change, and ? Change appropriateness. The study investigates different influences of the four dimensions of ERFC and how they contribute in different ways to the level of TQM implementation. The empirical context is Algerian manufacturing organizations. The results and implications of the study are discussed.
