Collema subundulatumfrom New Zealand is described. It is closely related toC. undulatum, a species widely distributed in the Northern Hemisphere. It is phytogeographically somewhat similar toC. novozelandicumwhich is here recorded from Australia, its first known locality outside New Zealand.
