The Yokogawa subsidiary based in UK has partnered with OLI Systems Inc., a leading US provider of electrolyte thermodynamics and physical property modeling capabilities. Under this partnership, KBC will combine its Petro-SIM~R software solution with OLI's Alliance Engine electrolyte thermodynamics solution to create a "system-wide electrolyte digital twin of entire assets." This digital twin will allow users to predict corrosion, fouling in exchangers, and scaling in process lines exposed to seawater in real-time, increasing plant reliability, safety, and profitability.
