Several economic concerns have reared their heads in recent months. Logistics and supply bottlenecks continue to cause a scarcity of goods, which is driving up inflation. That is prompting central banks around the world to start talking about the need to raise interest rates. In addition, Covid-19 rates are rising in much of the Northern hemisphere with the onset of winter, prompting new lockdowns, or at least the threat of lockdowns. But even if Christmas might be either cancelled, unavailable or unaffordable, the stock markets are on a roll.
