Rowena Hill, Professor of Resilience, Emergencies and Disaster Science, Nottingham Trent University, and CFO Ben Brook, NFCC lead on Climate Change and Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service, opened up the climate change session with Marc Castellnou, Wildfire Analyst, appearing on video link to update on the daunting figures associated with the escalating global wildfire threat.
