Reuters data indicated that the cracking margin on WTI at the US Gulf Coast climbed by $3.60/bbl to a weekly average of $31.05/bbl-after having improved in the previous week as well-while WTI crude priced at Houston in the Gulf Coast state of Texas firmed by 58¢/bbl over the week ending Aug. 26 to reach $95.83/bbl. The cracking margin on Brent in the region ascended by $5.16/bbl to average $21.83/bbl, after having increased in the previous two weeks as well.
