Whilst driving along the infamous A303, heading back 'up country' from our CMC Riviera Run adventure in Cornwall, Karen and I decided to book Sheldon in with Atspeed Classic Tuning in Rayleigh, Essex. A week or so later, we headed to Essex on what we thought would be a sunny day. Sadly, the weather report was way off, again. It threw it down but Sheldon didn't have a problem, until we came to restart the engine to drive onto Atspeed's ramp. We wanted to fit a Lambda boss into the Maniflow LCB, just before it joins into the link pipe. The Mini was coughing and spluttering because some numpty hadn't fitted a splash guard. Thankfully, a squirt of WD40 in the dizzy cap, and a wipe, cleared up the misfire.
