The article aims to review the latest researches on suiting fabric used across the globe for different end uses specifically for trousers, suits, etc. In the beginning, suitability of the raw material is detailed out with regard to applications of suiting fabrics. Further, the requirements of cotton suiting fabric as well as characteristics of wool suiting fabric are reviewed. Moreover, certain popular weaves and pattern for suiting fabric along with the approach to be followed for the selection of suiting fabric have been mentioned. Eventually, some of the research findings on suiting fabric are also reviewed for exploring further scope of the study on suiting fabric.
