For the first time in its 77-year history, Kenmore Air has a president who is not a member of founder Bob Munro's extended family. David Gudgel, who has been Chief Operating Officer of the company for the last year, has been named President. He succeeds Todd Banks, who was President for about 25 years and now is Vice President of Business Development. "This is a unique space to be in, where I'm the first non-family member to be entrusted to run Kenmore," Gudgel said. "I'm working to maintain that sense of family and the amazing culture. We want to be able to take advantage of new opportunities but not at the cost of losing the family equity and culture that we've built over the years." Five members of the second, third, and fourth-generation Munro family work at Kenmore.
