Bowers Group (www.bowersgroup.co.uk) will be exhibiting a range of'connective metrology' solutions at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2023, where visitors to the stand (L240) will see live product demonstrations showing how effective data transfer between measurement equipment and applications can boost manufacturing productivity. On display will be a range of Bluetooth-enabled hand tools and height gauges working in conjunction with Sylvac's Sylcom software, demonstrating how connectivity can improve efficiencies and reduce errors. Visitors will also have the chance to see Bowers' DigiMic digital external micrometer. A registered 'Made in Britain' product, it offers: built-in Bluetooth connectivity; quick, simple, and highly accurate measurements; and can be easily integrated into any Industry 4.0/SPC system. Meanwhile, the Sylvac Scan S25T - the latest addition to optical measuring systems from Sylvac - is a high-resolution high-accuracy machine that uses the latest Sylvac-Scan technology and can undertake the rapid measurement of small cylindrical parts up to 26mm in diameter × 200mm long. Delivered automation ready, the Sylvac Scan S25T comes equipped with Sylvac's proven tilt axis for thread measurement and can measure threads with helix angles up to 30deg.
