Mark Anthony Brewing, the fast-growing independent brewer that produces the market-leading White Claw hard seltzer and other canned alcoholic drinks, is expected to start production at its third facility in North America, at Columbia in South Carolina. The US$400 million 'state-of-the-art' brewery was first announced in November 2020 and was expected to be fully operational by the summer of 2021. But this has been delayed and recruitment at the Pineview Industrial Park site continues with advertisements in the regional press. Around 300 jobs are being created at the facility which has been described as one of the largest breweries to be built in the US in more than 25 years.
