Tehran—The National Petrochemical Co. (NPC) of Iran announced that several projects are underway to convert methanol to propylene, according to NIPNA. With the implementation of these projects, in different chains of propylene, approximately 5-million t/y of methanol will be allocated for the production of propylene. No other details were given on the propylene projects.
