Brasilia.—Indorama Ventures (IVL) said it has almost tripled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) recycling capacity with the completion of an expansion of its facility in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The project, which was supported by a $300-million Blue Loan from the International Finance Corp., increased the recycling plant's production capacity to 25,000 t/y of PET made from post-consumer recycled material from its previous capacity of 9,000 t/y.
