Traditional concept of Dhurries is that it is a smooth, hard, flat woven, pile less cotton fabric, usually in simple strips in different colour running from side to side or simple patterns, generally used as 'spread'. This concept has changed over the years. The hand-made designer Dhurries have come into the textile scene like a breath of fresh air.
