BLM Group USA will demonstrate new features of its LT8.20 Lasertube in its booth. Updates include a drill and tap module that offers friction or classic drilling and roll tapping, helping to eliminate secondary processes. A new adjustable-mode beam, 5-kW resonator (reportedly the first in the industry) with independent and dynamic control helps optimize performance based on material thickness and assist gas, while a sensored cutting head continuously monitors lens and glass condition for wear and dirt. Additionally, the LT8.20 can operate using compressed air for high-speed cutting and smooth edge quality in aluminum sheet, as well as cost reduction when processing mild steel.
