Tokyo—Chiyoda Corp.,Tokyo Electric Power Co.Holdings(TEPCO)and Jera Co.said they have commenced research and development(R&D)of innovative ammonia synthesis catalysts in Japan to support the establishment of fuel ammonia supply chains.The initiative is to develop independent ammonia synthesis technologies,based on the development of the innovative catalysts,to enhance the use of ammonia through lower production costs and to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from power generation plants.
