Shanghai-Domo Chemical announced investments in China to expand production capacity for Technyl high-performance polyamides(PA)to meet growing market demand.Domo,which acquired Solvay's PA business in 2020 and has sold the Technyl products globally since 1 Feb.2022,will continue to expand capacity of its production site in Jiaxing,Zhejiang Province(PCN,7 Feb 2022,p 3).Since March 2022,an additional 6,000 t/y of capacity has been made available at the Jiaxing site,with the plant achieving total capacity of 14,000 t/y of PA6 from April 2022 onwards.
