Alba Mineral Resources has completed surface drilling three holes at its Clogau-St David's gold mine in north Wales, hitting what it has called "significant quartz veins". So far three drill holes have been completed for 399.6 metres, with a fourth hole drilled to 54.6 metres. Alba said each of the three completed holes hit significant veins within about a 15-metre zone of one another, indicating there is a vein system some 30 metres below the deepest previously worked zone at the Llechfraith mine area. Further, deeper holes will be drilled to test the extent of this vein system.
