High-quality biobank laboratories play a crucial role in the context of multicenter clinical trials, basic and applied research, by providing and enhancing the translational link within transversal and personalized medicine initiatives. These laboratories pursue the highest quality of collected biospecimens and associated annotated data that qualify their samples for downstream applications.
