With a brief introduction to three major types of uncertainties,randomness, nonspecifically and fuzziness we discuss various attemptsto quantify them. We also discuss several attempts to quantify totaluncertainty in a system. We then talk about some new facts ofuncertainty lie, higher-order fuzzy entropy, hybrid entropy andconvex in a body of evidence. In conclusion, we indicate some otheraspects of uncertainty that need to be modeled and quantified.
