Sabah-The State of Sabah, through its wholly-owned company SMJ Sdn Bhd (SMJSB), and Petronas Chemicals Group (PCG) have signed a heads of agreement for SMJSB to acquire a 25% equity interest in Petronas Chemicals Fertiliser Sabah Sdn Bhd (PC FSSB). A wholly-owned subsidiary of PCG, PC FSSB was established in 2011 to build, own and operate an integrated 1.9-million-t/y ammonia and urea complex in Sipitang Oil and Gas Industrial Park in Sipitang, Sabah, Malaysia.
