Dallas-Celanese has signed a definitive agreement to purchase a majority of DuPont's Mobility & Materials(M&M)business,including a broad portfolio of engineered thermoplastics and elastomers,for $ll-billion.The M&M product portfolio includes several specialty materials with global leadership positions in nylon,specialty nylons,polyesters,and elastomers.
