The World Resources Institute, in partnership with the World Bank Group, United Nations Environment, the United Nations Development Programme, the Centre de coopération internationale en recherche agronomique pour le développement, and the Institut national de la recherche agronomique, proposes an answer to this question in the report entitled “Creating A Sustainable Food Future - A Menu of Solutions to Feed Nearly 10 Billion People by 2050 Synthesis Report.”1 The report offers numerous policy proposals and technical opportunities to meet global food, land-use, and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions goals in 2050. This summary prepared by RNRF provides an overview of policy issues and recommendations of this report.
