Dear Editor It was with great interest that we read the recent article by Sieben et al. (2020), which proposes concept mapping as an aid for students looking to improve the quality of their reflective writing. We thank the authors of this article for highlighting a key issue faced by students today with regards to how medical schools encourage reflective practice. As medical students from the UK, we wanted to share our perspective.
