摘要

Recently, there has been a growing interest in comprehensive indicators for evaluating indoor environmental quality (IEQ) in an office building. In this regard, research has been actively conducted on developing individual weightage for each IEQ component. However, most studies had limitations since weightage was calculated based on subjective data obtained from a survey questionnaire. To address the limitation, this study presents individual weightage for four IEQ components: thermal comfort, visual comfort, acoustic comfort and air quality. The weightage is based on objective data collected via a computer-based ability test to evaluate work performance. The weightage based on objective measurement can be summarized as follows: thermal comfort: 36.5%, visual comfort: 8.4%, acoustic comfort: 30.7% and air quality: 24.4%. The findings of this study can be used to help manage the IEQ of an office building so that actual work performance can be improved without depending on the occupants' judgments. They can also serve as guidelines for maintaining IEQ in the office environment.
