Ottawa-Woodfibre LNG has signed a third LNG sales and purchase agreement with BP Gas Marketing (BPGM), a subsidiary of BP, for the delivery of all of its offtake of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Woodfibre LNG export facility being built near Squamish, B.C., Canada. Woodfibre, the world's "first" LNG export facility set to achieve net zero carbon emissions, has now committed all 1.95-million t/y of LNG to BPGM on a flexible basis, Woodfibre noted. The latest agreement was for an additional 450,000 t/y of LNG over 15 years on a free on board basis.
