In the California Independent System Operator footprint, solarcapture prices tumbled while wind prices increased, despite adecline in generation for both technology types.According to CAISO data, wind generation was down 34.34%and solar was down 5.09%. Peakload demand remained stable,declining by only 64 MW. Solar capture prices in the NP15, SP15and ZP26 generation hubs were down by about 31.25%, and windprices in the NP15 and SP15 hubs increased by 36 cents and$2.44, respectively. Solar on-peak penetration in the electricitymix increased to 25.37%, while wind decreased to only 4.25%.
