The Indonesian state energy firm reported a net profit of $2.53B in 2019, the same net profit the company reported in 2018. PT Pertamina reported crude and refined product imports in 2019 fell 35% and 11%, respectively, from 2018 levels. Company spokesperson Fajriyah Usman stated that drop in crude and refined product imports last year was the result of the Indonesian government implementing a B30 mandate, boosting domestic palm oil-based biodiesel consumption.
