Abstract Healthcare professionals have battled physically, mentally, and emotionally overwhelming workforce pressures for years. The COVID‐19 pandemic exacerbated this burnout substantially since its onset in 2020. Recently implemented federal initiatives aim to assist in the development of moral resiliency against a morally distressing workplace environment. But is this enough? Meeting the immediate need for substantial mental health resources in the healthcare field is essential and will be a long‐lasting endeavor.
