摘要

Russia's announcement that it would fly the Ilyushin 11-80, the Russian "doomsday plane," at its planned Victory Day parade over Moscow sparked excitement in the global aviation community. The plane flew over Moscow during the rehearsal, but the May 9 air parade itself was officially canceled due to bad weather (which was not bad at all).A Victory Day flight this year would not have been the first public demonstration of the 11-80. The aircraft participated in a parade over Red Square on May 9,2010, as well as in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Russian Air Force in 2012.In May, the Ilyushin Aviation Complex's production plans for 2022-30 were circulated on the internet. Ilyushin includes the Voronezh VASO and Ulyanovsk Aviastar-SP final assembly plants as well as the Myasishchev and Beriev companies dealing with special-purpose aircraft. Judging from the numbers for civil aircraft in the plan, this appears to be a table of new data created in recent weeks under the conditions of current sanctions. It seems credible, although misinformation can never be ruled out Ilyushin would produce the "9631" aircraft in 2026, according to this schedule; it is the only one of this model to be made by 2030.
