The impact of influenza on mortality in Korea is substantial. 1 Therefore, the general population are recommended to receive an influenza vaccination once a year to prevent influenza infection, relieve symptoms, and reduce the risk of complications. Due to the prolonged COVID-19 epidemic, the possibility of co-infection with respiratory viruses, such as COVID-19 and influenza virus, might increase.
