In this study, variation braiding was used for the development of single and bifurcated coronary stents. A production method of single and bifurcated coronary stents was introduced, developed single coronary stents were tested and the results were evaluated according to their process parameters for the practical usability for stent grafting.Coronary bifurcation lesions are injuries or disruptions within the coronary arteries and their branches. In these lesions, treatments should be intervened with cautions. Stenting only the main branch is the most common approach for the treatment. How-ever, according to the complexity of the Situation 2-stent tech-niques can also be applied for the treatment. In contrast to coro?nary Stents, which are manufactured using precision laser tech-nology, the braided structures are characterized by a high degree of flexibility in use. The Variation braiding technology allows ful-ly automated production of these bifurcated braided structures with complex binding technology in the legs as well as in the transition areas.
