The International Cheese and Dairy Awards returned in person this year, and were held at a new venue, along with two days of extra consumer show events. "Love Cheese Live" was inaugurated, and all of it was no longer weather dependent. The enormous temporary Cheese Show marquee at Nantwich took nearly three weeks to construct and equip, whereas the permanent buildings at the Staffordshire show ground including Bingley Hall (near Stafford, UK) are purpose built for shows and exhibitions. After such a long association with the Nantwich Agricultural Society, it was a difficult decision, and involved two years of work for the current ICDA committee, chaired by Ian Luxton from Belton Farm Cheese.
