Alberta— The Canadian federal and provincial governments announced that Air Products will receive a total of around C$475-million in funding for the new multibillion-dollar net-zero hydrogen energy complex being built in Alberta, Canada (PCN, 14 June 2021, p 3). Air Products, which originally planned to invest C$1.3-billion on the 165-million-cu ft/d hydrogen production and liquefaction complex, has increased its planned investment to C$1.6-billion to include beneficial engineering enhancements to the production process to further reduce greenhouse gases.
