A film can be made conductive either internally or externally. Conductive polymersare used to make the intrinsically conductive film by blending it with insulatingpolymers. In this study, a similar approach has been used to make a film of insulatorPAN polymer and composite film of conductive polymer PEDOT:PSS and PAN tocheck the conductivity. The pure and composite films were tested for SEM, EDS, FTIRfor the presence of PEDOT:PSS and PAN polymers in different films. Thecompatibility of these two polymers and structural changes were checked throughDSC and XRD respectively. Electrical conductivity has also been marginallyconfirmed.
