摘要

My shop uses a lot of .3mm (.012") brass small hole tubes. We have a great deal of difficulty inserting the tubes into the tube seal without bending them. Do you have any suggestions? Roger's reply:.3mm and smaller small hole brass tubes are very fragile and easily bent during handling, considering that it is essentially a .012" wire with a .005" hole in it. (These same tubes made out of copper, often utilized for burning carbide, are even more fragile.) It is very easy to bend, and thus scrap, these tubes when trying to insert the end into the tiny hole in the seal.
