摘要

For industrial processing of rosemary plant raw materials, consistent yields and qualities are of decisive importance. Indoor farming can ensure these requirements and could become an interesting opportunity for industrial companies. In this work theeffect of four different spectral compositions "WFR” (white + far red), "WB” (white + blue), "BR” (blue/red), "W” (white) on four varieties of Rosmarinus officinalis ('Barbecue', 'Ingauno', 'Abraxas' and 'Speedy') regarding plant growth and quality were examined. A light intensity of 360 mumol m-2 s-1 (20 h day-1) was used for all light treatments. The plants were cultivated with a plant density of 100 plants m~(-2) in a deep-water system inside a container indoor farm. A harvest was carried out after a cultivation period of 93 and 124 d. Cultivar 'Ingauno' had the lowest plant height of 8-9 cm at harvest, but nevertheless the largest fresh and dry mass (24-27 g and 4-5 g plant-1), regardless of the used spectra. Based on the assumption of three possible harvests, an annual yield of 1.23 kg m-2 dried rosemary plant material was documented. A significant inhibition of the growth rate as biomass per day was documented for the spectra WFR with a higher share of far red, regardless of the used cultivars, due to a powdery mildew infestation.
