Grangemouth- Ineos Olefins & Polymers Europe announced it has joined the Nextloopp project,a UK collaboration to create circular food-grade recycled polypropylene(rPP)from post-consumer recycled(PCR)packaging.The two-year project will involve building a demonstration plant in the UK to produce 10,000 t/y of food-grade rPP,with the aim of validating the manufacturing process and its commercial viability,and obtaining acceptance from the UK's Food Standard Agency and European equivalent.
