摘要

A sewage sludge storage facility was built in late 20th and early 21st century to free up land for the construction of a new residential complex Mar'inskii Park. This unique engineering structure stores more than two million tons of dehydrated sludge of domestic wastewater. In the course of development of Moscow, the necessity arose to assess the geoecological state of this sewage sludge storage facility. An attempt was made to identify the main geoecological factors affecting the transformation of the physical and mechanical properties of deposited soils and to establish the reasons that cause an increase in the actual terms of their lithifi-cation, if the technology of their deposition is not followed. It is noted that each landfill site is characterized by its own individual engineering and geological conditions of the territory. Considering that the most intensive decomposition of pollution products and lithification of deposited sediments occurs under aerobic conditions, it is pointed out that hydrogeological conditions play a special role at deposition sites. The results of field studies and their theoretical justification show that the issues of studying the characteristics of the composition and the main physical and mechanical properties of soils during their deposition in urban conditions are the most important in the formation of geoecological conditions in large cities. The results obtained are important both for engineering and for geological and hydrogeological assessment of the conditions of territories with accumulated environmental damage, and for considering them from a geological point of view. Such a factor of the anthropogenic impact on the ground sphere of foundations as the hydrogeological regime of groundwater in the case of landfills is a typical geoecological factor that determines homeostasis and its transformation under anthropogenic load in urban ecosystems. The inadmissibility of deviation in construction practice from the foreseen design solutions that determine the technology and mode of operation of wastewater sludge landfills has been substantiated.
