Abstract A target chamber has been developed and manufactured for carrying out simulation experiments with two simultaneous beams of heavy and light ions. The target chamber is equipped with elements for beam diagnostics and target-temperature control. The chamber allows the installation of plasma cleaning systems and nitrogen trap.
