In the eastern part of Berlin a ripple control system must be installed. For the determination of a suitable frequency computations and measurements had to be done. The impedances as a function of the frequency in three selected medium-voltage networks were calculated. As a guard for the results of the calculations measurements in the medium-voltage networks were done using a new method .
