1. Covestro has decided to enter into open-ended discussions with Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC), in view of the interest ADNOC has expressed in Covestro. Covestro presently does not intend to comment on this matter any further unless, and until, changed circumstances or events require it to do so. 2. Evonik is currently testing its innovative hydrolysis process at a pilot plant in Hanua, Germany, that makes it possible to recover the main components of polyurethane foam and reuse them as high-quality building blocks in the production of new mattresses. It has partnered with Remondis for the supply of end-of-life mattresses.
