The North American Aluminum Association has released an all-new semi-fabricated life cycle assessment (LCA) report focused on the carbon, greenhouse gas emission and energy impact of North American aluminium production. As the incoming Association president and CEO Chuck Johnson points out, this new report is the first full LCA update since 2014, and the new data will inform messaging and research for the industry in a number of ways moving forward.
