Banskok— Indorama Ventures (IVL) said it has agreed to acquire Oxiteno, a subsidiary of Ultrapar, for $1.3-billion to create a "unique" portfolio in high-value surfactants and "significantly" extend its existing Integrated Oxides and Derivatives (IOD) business.
