From a power booster seat to a deployable ramp, Toyota Mobility has vehicles to get people with disabilities where they need to go. MINIVANS WITH SLIDING doors and large cargo vans can help accommodate those who have limited mobility, but for those in wheelchairs, most people find a need for a specially outfitted vehicle. Toyota offers two such mobility options in its Sienna minivan, one converted in-house and another modified by a company-approved outfitter. Our staff members, some of whom work on a daily basis with people who have disabilities, put both vehicles to the test. Bottom line: Both vans offer a level of freedom that those who have physical limitations may have missed. Here's what we learned.
