A nonflying demonstrator of the Sukhoi Light Tactical Aircraft, or LTS, was unveiled at the MAKS Airshow outside Moscow in July 2021. Aimed at the export market, first flight is scheduled for 2023, with production planned to begin by the end of 2025. The Su-75 draws on systems developed for Russia's Su-57 stealth fighter, including the engine. Lockheed Martin's proposal for the U.S. Air Force's "bridge tanker" requirement for 140-160 commercial-derivative aerial refueling aircraft, the LMXT is based on the Airbus A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT). The design has an increased fuel capacity of 271,100 lb., compared with 244,700 lb. for the baseline A330 MRTT and 212,300 lb. for the competing Boeing KC-46A.
