On May 27,Turkish Airlines(TK) launched a new non-stop, year-round service from Istanbul (ISL) to Seattle (SEA). Flights operate four times a week (on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays) with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners. Later this year, TK expects to add Detroit DTW)and Denver (DEN) to its route network.Starting on June 3, British Airways (BA) began linking London Heathrow (LHR) and Portland (PDX) with a year-round service operating six days a week, Sunday to Friday. Through Alaska Airlines (AS), BA will offer connections to several other destinations in the Pacific Northwest.Eurowings Discover (EW) started a seasonal service from Frankfurt (FRA) to Salt Lake City (SLC) on May 23.The route is operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with Airbus A330s. The service will run until October 14 and resume again in summer 2023.German low-cost carrier Eurowings Discover (EW) started flights from Frankfurt (FRA) to Anchorage (ANC) on June 13. Until September 10, the seasonal service will be operated three times a week-on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays-with Airbus A330s. Other international carriers at ANC this summer include Condor (DE) and Air Canada (AC).
